The focal point of my work is the question «”Why?» - Why do we do what we do? What is enterprise IT good for?

All other aspects of enterprise IT, structures, and architectures are derived from the purpose of IT: Technology is important, processes are important, skills and collaboration are even more important – but none of it has any value without a clear relation to business goals.

IT today has, more than ever, the potential to drive business innovation. The distinction between IT and business fades. Engineers must learn to think market- and customer-focused and understand economics, businesspeople must understand the potential impact of technology. Once they gain a common understanding of goals, of purpose, their different, even conflictive, perspectives can be useful to overcome challenges and to jointly create new solutions.

My passion as a consultant is to act at exactly this interface, to meditate, to connect. to structure, and to finally create sustainable value for my customers.
